Cancers are named for the primary site of origin, i.e., skin cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, brain cancer, etc. If a cancer is found in the lung that originated in the breast it is called breast cancer metastatic to the lung, not a lung cancer. Lung cancers are those that is begun from a lung cell in the lung. If a lung cancer spreads to the bone it is still lung cancer, not bone cancer.

Step three, eat healthy food, get regular exercise and maintain your normal body weight. Certain cancers are associated with viral infections that can be prevented with immunizations, such as Hepatitis B immunizations to prevent liver cancer and HPV immunizations to prevent cervical cancer.
Some risky behaviour like free sex and drug abuse can lead to infections that may raise your risk of cancer. Viruses transmitted sexually or by sharing contaminated needles include: HPV, Hepatitis B and C, or HIV can increase our risk for some cancer. Follow these steps above to decrease your risk for developing cancer.
