If you think about it, it really means that the prospect is thinking about what you are saying rather than rejecting out of hand what you have to offer right from the start.
At this point, you need to sit back, take your time and think about what the prospect is really saying.
If the person is saying that it’s about the money, you could respond by asking them to tell you a little more about their life, their job and identify exactly what it is that concerns them.
A good network marketer asks as lot of questions. Learn about your prospect, their family and their expectations. Maybe the person is telling you that all of their income is tied up and they live from paycheque to paycheque and therefore, cannot afford your product or opportunity.
A great tactic at this point is to shift the focus back on them and inform that with your program or company it can actually increase their earnings so that they will have extra money to spend on the things they have not been able to afford.
It they are telling you that they are too busy and just don’t have the time, by having asked questions, you will already know about them and their life. Maybe the person is working so hard that they don’t see their family enough.
Wouldn’t having extra time be an interesting concept for you to explain to them?
Again, shift the focus onto the person by explaining that only a few extra hours a week could make all the difference in their financial status and time freedom. Even plant a seed that these few hours could even turn into so much residual income that they could fire their boss permanently.
A good tactic would be to educate them on what leverage is all about. Most people haven’t a clue about network marketing and what it entails. A lot of people think it’s just another pyramid scheme, not realizing that the whole of our business world is run by that model.
It is up to you to show them the possibilities, reawaken their dreams and network marketing is the vehicle that can do that for anyone and you don’t need to go back to school to do it. You only need desire, determination, persistence and consistence.
Show them that 2 hours at their real job will not pay them the same way as 2 hours worked by all the people in their organization.

So objections are preferable to apathy. In the end, you get well needed experience in being able to deal with them in a smart and effective way while educating your prospect as to the real objectives a network marketer lives to achieve.
But only quality training will help the network marketer be all she can be.
